BCAP, JFCS and SHIM jointly organized and hosted the 2021 High School Graduates Felicitation Event, on June 10, 2021, at the Brenan Park Plaza in Whitehall Borough.
High school graduates of the class of 2021 from various local school districts in Pittsburgh were joined at the event by their mayors and principals. BCAP Executive Director Khara Timsina delivered his message on behalf of BCAP, and Tulasha Neopaney spoke on behalf of the students present.
Agency representatives put “Abir”, a red powder and “Khadaa”, scarf to the students which was followed by a photo session with the guests. JFCS provided a beautiful portfolio bag to each student that attended the event. We would like to thank all the students who made it, the Whitehall Borough for the space, and to everyone who came out to support.

"The film tells the story of a young teacher in modern Bhutan who shirks his duties while planning to go to Australia to become a singer. As a reprimand, his superiors send him to the most remote school in the world, a glacial Himalayan village called Lunana, to complete his service. He wants to quit and go home, but he begins to learn of the hardship in the lives of the beautiful children he teaches, and begins to be transformed through the amazing spiritual strength of the villagers."
The event is free and open to the public. Please register to get the link.
